Studies

PhD studies

Ph.D. Studies in Computer Science
Computer Science Division of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens
Supervised by Prof. Timos Sellis.

Ph.D. Thesis:
I have completed my Ph.D. thesis in the general area of Data Management, in the Computer Science Division of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, under the supervision of Prof. Timos Sellis.
My research focuses on issues that relate to the general problem of data sharing and query processing in loosely coupled distributed environments, such as Peer-to-Peer systems. I considered and solved problems that relate to structured and unstructured data in both structured and unstructured flat overlays.
SUBJECT: Query Processing in P2P Overlays.
